Making a beef rendang ,
- 200g self raising flour
- 300ml Coconut Milk
- 1/2 tsp Baking powder
Mix these together in a bowl – it should be quite sticky.
Add –
1/2 tsp Coriander seeds, crushed, 1tsp paprika and turmeric each, 1 finely chopped clove of garlic and a teaspoon of salt.
Add 100g slightly crushed peanuts, and mix well.
Put a little amount of vegetable in a medium / hot frying pan and fry these at little cookie-shapes, about a tablespoon at a time until golden on both sides (flatten them a little).
